If you are struggling to cut your fingernails, for a small additional charge, I can provide a finger nail trimming and filing service.
Can't reach your feet to cut your nails? Are your nails too thick to cut?
I will carefully trim your nails to a suitable length and can thin them if necessary. Thick nails are often caused by fungal infection and I can advise you on a course of treatment which, in time, will make your nails normal again.
Did you know that corns, callus and hard skin are caused by friction or stress on your feet?
These can be reduced by your Foot Health Practitioner or a Podiatrist. They may even be able to be eliminated with padding or insoles.
Do you or your children have verrucas?
Verrucas are caused by a virus. Anyone can get them and normally the body's own immune system will deal with them. However, they can be unsightly or cause pain in which case you may want to treat them. I can advise you and carry out treatments which may help to alleviate the problem. This can be a long term treatment.
Are you diabetic?
You will need to take especially good care of your feet as diabetics are more prone to poor responses to infection because of the excess sugar in their system. It is very important to check your feet daily for sore spots or small cuts and never go barefoot. I will carry out a neurovascular check every 6 months alongside your regular treatment to make sure your feet are in good condition. (No extra charge)
